Junior High School Programme

Our JHS programme prepares learners rigorously for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) while developing the leadership, critical thinking and technological skills needed for Senior High School and beyond. NCA’s internationally oriented approach ensures our graduates are globally competitive.

Pay the registration fee to secure your child’s place, collect their uniform and stationery list, and prepare for an exciting first day at Noble Captains Academy.

Admission Requirements

A simple checklist to ensure your application is processed smoothly and quickly. All documents may be submitted in person or via email.

Required Documents
Birth Certificate
Original and one photocopy of the child’s birth certificate.
Immunisation / Health Record
Copy of the child’s immunisation record / health booklet.
Passport Photographs
2 recent passport-sized photographs of the child.
Previous School Report (if applicable)
Last two terms’ reports from the child’s previous school (for transfers and Primary / JHS applicants).
Parent / Guardian Ghana Card or ID
A copy of a valid national ID, passport or driver’s licence of the parent or guardian.
Completed Registration Form
The NCA registration form, available from the school office or upon request by email.
Important Information
Open Enrolment
NCA accepts applications throughout the year, subject to available spaces in each class level.
Assessment for Transfers
Transfer students joining Primary 3 and above may be required to sit a brief placement assessment to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate class level.
School Bus Availability
NCA operates school bus services covering the surrounding communities. Speak to the admissions office about available pick-up points and bus fees.
Payment Plans
Fees are payable per term. Instalment plans are available — please discuss your needs with our admissions team in confidence.
Spaces Are Limited

When does the academic year begin and end?
The NCA academic year runs from September to July and is divided into three terms. Term 1 runs September – December, Term 2 runs January – March, and Term 3 runs April – July. However, we accept new learners at the start of any term subject to availability.
Can my child join mid-term or mid-year?
Yes, we accept enrolment throughout the year subject to available space in the relevant class. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to check availability. Mid-term joiners are fully supported by our teachers to integrate into the class curriculum.
Does the school provide meals?
Yes. NCA provides nutritious, quality meals for all learners as part of the school fees. Our meals are prepared under the supervision of Mrs. Mildred Obu-Simpson, a certified professional caterer, ensuring good quality, sufficient quantity and great taste every day.
Is there a school bus service?
Yes, NCA operates school bus services covering Fetteh Kakraba, Breku, Budumburam, Kasoa and surrounding communities. The bus service is available at an additional fee. Please contact the admissions office to confirm available pick-up points near you.
What is the language of instruction?
The primary language of instruction at NCA is English. Ghanaian Language and French are taught as subjects. Many parents note that their children show rapid improvement in spoken and written English after enrolling — a frequent highlight in our parent reviews.
What co-curricular activities are available?
NCA offers a rich co-curricular programme including Taekwondo, football, athletics, volleyball, school choir and drama, UCMAS mental maths, French club, robotics exposure, school band and exchange programmes. These activities are included as part of our commitment to holistic development.
